Aaron Ward Town (1854-1933) was the son of Horace J. (1823-1909) and Florella (Ward) (1835-1879) Town of Arkwright in Chautauqua County, NY. Horace and Florella owned a large farm mostly in lot 2 of Arkwright. Aaron wrote these two diaries while in his early 20s describing activities on the farm, people's comings and goings, and other events. The two diaries are photographed and may be viewed through the links below. There is also an index of names appearing in the diaries with links to the pages on which the names appear.
