Aaron Ward Town (1854-1933) was the son of Horace J. (1823-1909) and Florella (Ward) (1835-1879) Town of Arkwright in Chautauqua County, NY. Horace and Florella owned a large farm mostly in lot 2 of Arkwright. Aaron wrote these two diaries while in his early 20s describing activities on the farm, people's comings and goings, and other events.
